Terms and Conditions of Business
IMPORTANT: Please read these terms and conditions, as your contract starts from the date that you book your course online and is legally binding.
In accordance with the DSA 2000 Regulations, you do have a 7 day “cooling off” period, which states specifically that “any cancellation must be made in writing within 7 days of your booking”. After this period, all booking fees are STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERABLE. If students do not attend on the day without prior notice, they will lose, or be responsible for the full course fee. (Non attendance is not showing up within the first hour of training, then the day will be chargeable and your place cancelled)
All balances for training are requested in full 14 days before training. Once this has been received we can only issue you with a transfer to another date, and not a refund.
Any cancellations made within 7 days, we ask for a 20% fee to re book your training,
Any cancellations within 48 hours, we ask you to pay a 50% fee to rebook your training.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your training, your fee is non refundable and non transferable except under exceptional circumsatnces. Or at Fine Tuning's discretion.
COVID-19: Due to Anna Swerdlow's recent medical condition being post Kidney Transplant, If you test positive or a member of your household has Covid within 24 hours of your training. You will be transferred to the next avaible training and we politely ask you for 30% of your course training fee to cover this inconvenience.
Please note that once your course is paid for in full and you have received all the course notes and details, your training is non refundable but transferrable with the above fees.
All courses upon payment must be completed with one year. This includes any re scheduling.
The School of Fine Tuning reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or change the location of the course and, in this unlikely event, will offer you an alternative course date. However, if you are unable to attend a rescheduled course, we will offer a full refund of your deposit or course fee.
Places cannot be confirmed until a deposit is paid, within 1 week of agreed booking. All final payments must be made 14 days prior to the start date – if a last minute booking is made, payment by BACS, or cash may be made on the day.
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the courses you apply for are suitable for your requirements and that you have the pre-requisite qualifications and the competence to be able to achieve the objectives of this course. Previous qualifications may asked to be presented on request. All student information will be confidential, nor will it be disclosed to other parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The School of Fine Tuning accepts no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of this website, or any information contained therein.
It is your responsibility to check that your insurance will cover you for these courses. We do, however, provide you with the details of Westminster Insurance who will insure any courses run by The School of Fine Tuning.
Furthermore, we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal effects. Some treatments will require the removal of jewellery and/or clothing and it is the responsibility of each student to ensure their safekeeping.
The copyright of all course material shall remain the sole and exclusive property of The School of Fine Tuning. You may not copy or permit the copying of course materials without prior written permission, nor disclose or permit the disclosure or sell or hire to third parties, nor use the same for running your own courses. These trainings are for students and practitioners and not for existing trainers. Any person breaching copyright may be liable to civil proceedings.
By booking with us, you have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
General Information: Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all the information displayed on this website, The School of Fine Tuning cannot accept any responsibility for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the arrangements featured on the website should they find such alterations necessary.
