Thai Herbal Compress Massage

Thai Herbal Compress (also known as Luk Pra Ko – translated as herbal pressing sphere) has been used for hundreds of years in Thailand as a remedy for sore aching muscles, stress relief, exhaustion and other ailments. This is truly a wonderful treatment that is still little known in Europe. Herbs are wrapped in balls of cotton muslin, steamed to release essential oils and aromas, and then applied along the sen sib or energy lines of the body.

At the School we use Priadara and Patawe Herbal Compresses that combined with heat and massage, provide the body with detoxification processes as well and purification and relaxation. Another beautiful energetic modality that will enhance your existing practice.

I will also show you some Thai Massage stretches and techniques to make this even more special.

Course Information:

Pre-requisite- This one day course is suitable for Massage Therapists who have already completed and achieved a recognised Level 3 Full Body Massage and Anatomy & Physiology qualification.
You will receive comprehensive guidance notes and information to take home with you, as well as continued support from our tutors following your successfully passing your practical assessment at the end of the workshop.
You will take home the compresses used on the day.
All items required for the course will be provided by The School of Fine Tuning.
