Myofascial Release Massage
Myofascial Release is a specialised treatment that releases restrictions within the connective tissue, enabling stuck, hardened and dehydrated areas to become soft and pliable and re-introduces movement within the body allowing a complete release all the way to cellular level.
This one day course will teach you the incredible benefits of Myofascial Release. The course will cover the background and application of these techniques enabling you to incorporate them into your treatments as well as advise clients on safe application in-between treatments. |
Overview of the course:
Join us for this hands-on day where by the end of the day you will be able to:
- Understand and examine The Anatomy surrounding MFRM including the effects of facia function and dysfunction on the body
- Learn observation and palpatory diagnostic skills which will enable you to Identify fascial tightness
- Understand different techniques for releasing fascia
- Learn various fascial release application and specific techniques for the Back, shoulders, neck, and lower extremities
Course information:
- This course is suitable for Massage Therapists who have already completed and achieved a recognised Level 3 Holistic, Swedish or Sports Body Massage and Anatomy & Physiology qualification.
- You will receive comprehensive guidance notes and information to take home with you, as well as continued support from our tutors following your successfully passing of your practical assessment at the end of the workshop.
- All items required for the course will be provided by The School of Fine Tuning.
