Fascial Unwinding and Hot Herbal Compress Massage
Wednesday 22nd April 2026
|
Fascial Unwinding is a specialised and deeply transformative treatment that works with the body’s connective tissue system — not only addressing muscles and structure, but also the fluids, emotions, and patterns held within the body.
Fascia is a living, intelligent matrix that surrounds and interconnects every muscle, organ, and system. When healthy, it is hydrated, fluid, and responsive. However, through stress, injury, postural habits, or emotional holding, this tissue can become restricted, dense, and dehydrated — limiting movement, disrupting fluid flow, and holding unresolved tension within the body. These restrictions don’t just affect the physical body. They can also hold emotional imprints and protective patterns, often stored unconsciously within the tissues. Through slow, intentional, and deeply listening techniques, Myofascial Release allows: • Stagnant fluids to begin moving again • Dehydrated tissue to rehydrate and soften • Restricted areas to open and regain elasticity • Stored tension and emotional holding to gently release This creates a profound sense of spaciousness, ease, and integration, supporting the body not only structurally, but also energetically and emotionally — often right down to a cellular level. ✨ This one-day course offers a powerful introduction to the depth and potential of Myofascial Release. You will explore: • The fascial system as a fluid, communicative network within the body • How restriction impacts movement, circulation, lymph, and emotional holding • How to palpate and recognise areas of density, dehydration, and stagnation • Practical, hands-on techniques to safely and effectively restore flow and release restriction • How to integrate this work seamlessly into your existing treatments 🔥 Hot Herbal Compress Integration You will also be introduced to the beautiful addition of hot herbal compress therapy, enhancing your treatments through warmth, aroma, and plant medicine. This supports: • Softening and preparing tissue before fascial release • Encouraging the movement of fluids, blood, and lymph • Creating a deeply nurturing and grounding experience • Allowing the body to feel safe enough to let go on a deeper level This combination brings a unique balance of depth, sensitivity, and therapeutic power, enabling you to work with both structure and subtlety. You will also learn how to guide your clients in simple, safe techniques to support fluid movement and release between treatments, empowering them to stay connected to their body and continue their healing journey. |
